In the "Photograph with LG G4" contest organised by LG Electronics Türkiye, more than 28,000 users competed for prizes by sharing the most beautiful shots of their cities.
26 August 2015 / Press Release — The "Photograph with LG G4" contest organised by LG Electronics Türkiye has come to a close. In the contest, which drew more than 28,000 participants, users who captured the most beautiful photograph of their city with the LG G4 won the prizes.
The online photography contest "Photograph with LG G4," organised by LG Electronics Türkiye, has concluded. In the contest, which was open to all, users competed with stunning photographs covering selfies, nature, city life and famous local delicacies. A total of 28,382 people took part; the owners of the two most-liked photographs won the chance to receive an LG G4. The total number of likes received by the photographs submitted to the contest reached 836,393.
As part of the contest, participants had the chance to view both their own photographs and those of other entrants in real time on an interactive map of Türkiye. Participants who uploaded their photographs to the system carried out the first round of selection by voting for the photographs they liked. With a total of 33,369 photographs shared, the contest also gave participants the opportunity to test their own photography skills.
The best two shots from among the 100 most-liked photographs were selected by a jury comprising IFSAK Chairman Tanju Akleman, IFSAK Deputy Chairman Lüset Macoro, Markakod Agency Chairman Ahmet Göker, LG Head of Brand Marketing Gül Cabı, LG Mobile Communications Marketing Specialist Belemir Özkırım, and LG Digital Marketing Director Erkan Terzi.
